BG Workforce Solutions Introduces the Omnis Workforce Modernization Suite
The defense workforce company brings its learning, readiness, AI, and operational tools onto one
IL-4–authorized platform, available to customers now.
LEXINGTON, Ky. — July 7, 2026 — BG Workforce Solutions today introduced the Omnis Workforce Modernization Suite (Omnis Suite or Omnis), a single platform that brings together the tools defense organizations use to qualify their people and keep them performing on the job. Every product in the suite is available to customers now.
The Omnis Suite marks BG Workforce’s most visible investment into customer-aligned development yet. The company earned its reputation on the ground: training defense workers and standing up advanced-manufacturing facilities including the Forge at Schofield Barracks and the Advanced Manufacturing Training School at Honolulu Community College. That advanced-manufacturing track record now includes a new partnership with America Makes, the national additive-manufacturing institute. Omnis is what the company built to support that work, and it is now available to defense customers as a single platform.
“For years our customers bought our training and our manufacturing expertise, then went looking for software to support it,” said Kevin Beamish, Chief Operating Officer of BG Workforce Solutions.
“Omnis is that software, built by the people who do the work. It closes the gap between what a technician learns in a classroom and what that technician does on the floor.”
The Omnis Workforce Modernization Suite includes five products:
- Proximus guides maintenance, inspection, and logistics work at the point of task, so a technician follows the current procedure on a tablet instead of a paper binder.
- Cognis runs training and certification, from course delivery and assessments to the records that document who completed what.
- Certis tracks workforce readiness — the skills, certifications, and qualifications that determine who can be assigned to a job.
- Orbis is the suite’s AI layer. It builds secure assistants trained on an organization’s own procedures, and its vision-based tools watch a task and coach a technician through it.
- Nodus connects the products to one another and to the systems an organization already runs.
Every product in the suite will operate in a DoD Impact Level 4 (IL-4) and is designed to achieve IL-5 and IL-6 quickly as customer missions require.
“People are tired of trying to make five different tools talk to each other coherently,” said Kevin Crawford, Chief Technology Officer of BG Workforce Solutions.
“Omnis provides a centralized data environment where training, certifications, skills, and operational performance are connected, giving leaders a comprehensive view of workforce readiness across the entire enterprise.”
BG Workforce Solutions is CMMC 2.0 certified and is pursuing increasingly higher authorization levels for the Omnis Suite.
